Daniels recently came into the limelight after an alleged affair between her and former American President Donald Trump was disclosed to the public.

No paparazzi were involved in revealing the affair to the public. Stormy herself came forward with the allegation in 2018. 

Ms. Daniels claimed that she and Mr. Trump had s*x, and she accepted $130,000 (£100,000) from his former lawyer before the 2016 election in exchange for her silence regarding the encounter.

Former President Donald Trump was asked to testify over allegations that hush money was paid to ex-p*rn actress Stormy Daniels on his behalf to cover up the affair.

Mr. Trump has denied he had any such affair with Stormy Daniels since the allegations surfaced in 2018.

Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, first talked about her alleged affair with Mr. Trump during a tell-all sit-down with In Touch Weekly magazine.

She said she met Mr. Trump at a charity golf tournament in July 2006 and claimed the pair had s*x once in his hotel room at Lake Tahoe. Mr. Trump’s lawyer “fervently” denied this at that time.

“He didn’t seem worried about it, and he was kind of arrogant,” she said while answering the interviewer asking if Mr. Trump had told her to keep quiet about their alleged night together.

The allegation is blown out of proportion because if Ms. Stormy’s account is valid, all of this would have happened just four months after the birth of Trump’s youngest son, Barron. 

According to some sources, the magazine did not publish Stormy’s original interview after receiving legal threats from Trump’s lawyers. 

In Touch Weekly finally published the controversial interview in 2018, weeks before Ms. Daniels told 60 Minutes that she had been threatened shortly after she agreed to speak to the magazine in 2011.

According to Daniels, an unknown man threatened her and her daughter in a park. He asked them to ‘leave Trump alone.’

She said she later accepted $130,000 in “hush money” from Mr. Cohen, Trump’s attorney, a month before the 2016 election because she was concerned for her family’s safety.

Since the payment was made a month before the presidential election, Mr. Trump’s critics argued the money could amount to a campaign violation.

At first, Mr. Cohen denied the report. But in February 2018, he admitted he had paid Ms. Daniels the money from his funds, though he stated that neither Mr. Trump nor the campaign was involved.

Later, Mr. Cohen testified under oath that Mr. Trump directed him to make the hush payment. 

Mr. Trump has acknowledged personally reimbursing the payment, which isn’t illegal but denied the affair and any wrongdoing regarding campaign laws.

A lawyer for Mr. Trump has confirmed prosecutors are inviting him to testify over the Stormy Daniels case. According to the New York Times, the offer to testify is voluntary, and Mr. Trump will likely decline.

Stormy Daniels has one child, who was born in 2011. She shares her daughter with her third husband, Golden Crain.

She said a typical day for her includes spending time with her daughter. On a day off, they make breakfast together, watch Sesame Street, and run errands together.
